Gaskets & Seals

Gaskets are mechanical seals designed to fill the space between two substrates, allowing imperfect surfaces to be joined together with more forgiving tolerance for surface irregularities. Often these gaskets are designed to prevent liquid, dust, debris, air, gas, EMI, light, chemicals or other items from entering or exiting a device and can tolerate a specific amount of force and compression.

A gasket or mechanical seal is generally made from a semi-resilient, conformable gasket material that can have a number of highly specialized customizations.
