Constant Lam
Senior Vice President Asia, Converting Operations
Constant Lam is Boyd’s Senior Vice President of Asia and has been with the company for nine years. He started at Boyd managing a single site in Shenzhen, China delivering exponential growth and has since helped guide the company through the propagation, start up and merger of five different operations across various countries in Asia integrating the disciplines and operational structure that’s served Boyd so well in the region. He currently oversees manufacturing, operations and commercial management in China, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam with primary industry focus in Mobile Computing, Consumer and Enterprise Electronics.
Constant has extensive general management, organizational, startup and turnaround experience having worked for numerous US multinational corporations s in Asia, with emphasis in China. He was previously the Vice President and Division Director for RR Donnelly’s first manufacturing plant in Shenzhen. He was also at Avery Dennison for ten years as the Vice President of Asia for its Information and Brand Management System Division where he set up satellite printing operations in 12 Asian countries while managing the startup of its flagship manufacturing plants in South China and Hong Kong. He has also supported large scale merger and acquisition processes for RVL and Paxar, as well as at numerous local companies that have gone public and are now listed on Hong Kong’s stock exchange.
Constant has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master of Arts degree of Comparative Asian Studies from the University of Hong Kong as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
